by Sraddha Ishaya
Sraddha Ishaya is a native New
Yorker currently living in Boulder, Colorado.
She left a career in the fashion industry in 1998 to become a monk of
the Ishaya Order and teach spiritual development. One result of her spiritual practice has been
a hugely enhanced creative flow. Sraddha
experiences creating jewelry as meditative and enlivening. She uses the Ishayas’ open-eyed meditation
techniques as she works, infusing each piece with healing and upwardly
spiraling energy. Because of this,
people are naturally attracted to her work, which features unique combinations
of semi precious stones, crystal, and other materials including silk, horn,
shell and resin. Each of her pieces is
one of a kind. Sraddha describes her style as “funky
yet sophisticated”. She is also an
accomplished pastel artist, does “felt-art” mandalas, and is available for
commissions on both jewelry and artwork. For more informations about the Ishaya Monks and the Ishayas' Ascension Attitudes, a profound yet simple meditation technique, visit www.boulderishayas.com Sri Yantra with OMs- Felt Collage
